My God, I love riding.
~ Flash Back Saturday ~
To spice things up a little, and vary from my usual weekend-horse photos, here’s a 20 second video of a light canter in a field. Don’t even get me started on how much I’m going to miss riding…
Saturday also involved lots of fudgesicles. Shhhhhh, we shall not speak of that though.

#MemoriesForMyFuture
This was my Thursday. I spent the whole day with my sister, and as you can see, it was perfect.
~ Scenes from Sunday afternoon ~
After the heart-incident and a Tim Hortons bagel later, I went riding [tis true, not even heart issues could stop me from riding].
I know I photograph the majority of my life because of this blog, including riding (thankyouverymuch iPhone), but there was a moment on Sunday which wasn’t photographed, and the perfect memory will slip itself into the top 5 moments of my life.
We found ourselves in one of the back fields and went for the most perfect canter through a hay field filled with thousands of white and yellow wild daisies. It was more than a perfect moment, that I won’t forget anytime soon.
Hay, Hay, Hay!
For the folks out there who actually know about American Saddlebreds (my choice of horse), I had the most incredible (and hot!) ride today, on this guy, 17 hands, badboy, Cosmic. I mean, c’mon, look at that natural headset with no double bridal on!
Happy Saturday! I am now off to shop for dresses, as wedding season is just around the corner.
Muchos Love

Ps. Thank you for the ridiculous-awesome-amazing response for the 5 and 5 in 30 challenge!! Try not to gain the 5 pounds you’ll lose in June, between now and June 1st; I know, so hard **as I eye the cookies to my left**
Such Gangstas!
BRB - riding this guy all day.
The past two days I’ve spent at the barn. Gallivanting around the wintry fields. Wriggling my toes to ensure I could still feel them. And simply being in my zone.
My break has been amazing, just what I needed, but tomorrow I head back to work, and as much as I’ll miss sleeping in, and letting the days unwind as they please, I’m looking forward to eating on a set schedule again (I always do better with schedules), and running in the evenings (hello 7k jog-then-nog run tomorrow night!!).
