Bahaha. Sorry for the bomb of photos. But they’re all just so funny.

Things to note:

  • Like I said, each of the tetris pieces cost us $12!! Thankyouverymuch dollar store.
  • We got stuck in the subway, as we could only exit through the disabled exit, but couldn’t figure out how it worked. We’re smart like this.
  • I lost my camera and freaked out
  • The bartender found my camera. I made him come out from the bar to get a hug. He deserved it.
  • Maneuvering around a bar in a tetris outfit is HARD. The more I drank, the easier it got. People kept trying to sit on me. I was not impressed.
  • My friend who was Buzz Light year, added glowing special effects to his costume. It was INCREDIBLE, as he would light up to the base of the music. (see last photo)
  • I ate pizza for three meals in a row. OMYGOD NO!!
  • I didn’t black out (I know, I’m so classy that this is even a point), but I usually easily do, so this was good.
  • We did this thing where anyone, at anytime could yell “ASSEMBLE” and all the tetris pieces would find each other, and run into formation. I’m laughing just thinking about this. (we have an awesome video of this too!)
  • Oh also, these costumes were excellent as I could stick my gut out as much as I wanted, and no one would know!

Overall, awesome Halloween Saturday, completely worth the alcohol and food calories.

We had A LOT of fun in them.  We were stopped everywhere we went.  People even stopped their cars to take photos of us.

Totes magotes worth the 8 hours it took constructing them! This is when we stopped to take cash out.

The entire night was (pardon my french) fucking-funny!

~ Halloween 2010 Weekend of Awesome ~

The weekend was just that, awesome-awesome. For reals, I won best costume(!!) at the bar I was at! And had a drunken night out with some of my favourite people, which was honestly exactly what I needed.

There was zero drama (a rarity for my group of friends, wahoo!), and just fun, tetris-toy-story-kick-ass times.

By chance, my group of friends and I were the top 3 costumes!! Which resulted in a $100 gift card for me and my tetris amigos, a mini-fridge for 2nd place (Kick Ass and Hit Girl), and 3rd place (Buzz Light Year and Cowgirl) scooped up a few free drinks that night.

It was TONS of fun, and I highly recommend being tetris, if you ever need a cheap (holla! It cost us $12 per person to make!), fun, lots-of-attention costume!

Starting at the beginning, this is how we made the tetris outfits!

Halloween 2010 was phenomenal. And drunk. And phenomenal.  I am so tired right now, I’ll guarantee you I’ll be fast asleep within 20 minutes, thus full posts of this autumn, amazeballz, tetris, weekend will have to come later.

Happy Halloweeny friends!
