CrossFit was hard today. Really, really hard.

  • The heat was intense: 35C (95F)
  • The workout was intense: 5 rounds for time of: a run, 9 box jumps, and 9 front squats (30kg, 66 pounds)
  • And the emotions were high: holy hell I hate admitting it, but I felt tears sitting just behind my eyes the whole time. It was awful. So awful in fact, it made me nervous for CrossFit later this week. Nervous that this might happen again. Nervous it’s going to break me. Nervous my sadness will show.
