Sunday Saturday Long, Slow Run

11k (6.8 miles) in 1:20 minutes with the lovely Miss Amy. I don’t think I can put into words the difference a good running buddy makes. The run felt short, fairly easy, and comfortable because I wasn’t concentrating on “just don’t stop Liz!!” Instead, I just knew I couldn’t stop because Amy was next to me running too!

I definitely have to figure out the intense burning in both my calves for the first few kms, but other than that, really excellent run - the half marathon is six weeks away and I’m determined to kick ass at it!

OHHHHHHHHH AND AND AND,

After the run, which ended around 10am, I headed to the 10:30 crossfit session, why? because I have no life I’m awesome felt sexy good and managed to do (for CF peeps) 1/2 of Murph in 32 minutes.

Funny how starting your weekend off with exercise just puts you in a good mood! Off to lunch with Matt, and then iKea to buy drawers.

A not-so-exciting, but good weekend is upon us!

See those smiling faces? That’s how...felt for pretty much all of yesterday’s run. Ok,...
